Dr. Katie Field

I qualified in Medicine at Cardiff University in 2015 before doing my Foundation medical training in Abergavenny and Newport Hospitals. 

I then completed my GP training in Gloucestershire in 2020. Since then I have worked as a salaried NHS GP in Bishops Cleeve for the last 4 years, whilst also working as an NHS locum in several practices in Gloucestershire. 

In the last 2 years I have branched into the private sector of General Practice alongside my other two roles, and enjoy being able to take the time that each consultation warrants, providing holistic care with continuity for my patients. I have special interests in joint injections and skin surgery with minor surgical appointments for the removal of a variety of “lumps and bumps”. 

When I'm not at work I'm a busy wife and mum of one and enjoy walking our dog, running, cycling, cooking and gardening.
